Bulgarian Designer Radi Lazarova Presents “Luce d’Amore” in the Historic Centre of Vieste Magical Vieste, enchanting Puglia and the Mediterranean Sea provided the natural backdrop for the spectacular international fashion event that brought Mediterranean Fashion Week 2026 to a close. On 5 September, the historic centre of Vieste, Puglia, was transformed into an international runway as Bulgarian designer Radi Lazarova, founder and creative force behind BLINK by Radi Lazarova, presented her latest collection, “Luce d’Amore”. The closing evening of the fourth edition of Mediterranean Fashion Week brought together international designers, models, artists and guests from around the world, transforming Vieste into a vibrant meeting point for contemporary fashion, culture and the unique atmosphere of Puglia. Fashion Against a Backdrop of Sea and History A special highlight of Radi Lazarova’s participation was an artistic photoshoot with Italian photographers, captured at the iconic trabucchi — ancient fishing structures and one of the defining symbols of Vieste’s coastline. Three looks from “Luce d’Amore” came to life against the backdrop of the sea, inspired by the delicate and mystical beauty of mermaids. Fashion, nature, the sea and history converged to create striking visual imagery, blending the spirit of Southern Italy with BLINK’s distinctive design signature. The photoshoot featured a special appearance by Veronika Stefanova, Miss Bulgaria World. Later that evening, she opened Radi Lazarova’s runway show alongside little Mia, daughter of Marianna Miceli, President of Mediterranean Fashion Week. “Luce d’Amore” — The Light of Love The collection’s name, “Luce d’Amore” (“The Light of Love”), evokes the beauty, romance and luminosity synonymous with Southern Italy and the Mediterranean. Delicate fabrics, signature designer lace, crystals, pearls and refined silhouettes — hallmarks of BLINK — came together in a collection that celebrates femininity through a contemporary and sensual lens. Vieste’s historic architecture, the sea, local traditions and the unmistakable energy of Puglia enriched the story of “Luce d’Amore”, transforming the runway show into more than a fashion presentation: it became a poetic expression of a love for beauty. A Strong Bulgarian Presence For Radi Lazarova, a particular source of pride was the fact that Bulgaria’s presence at Mediterranean Fashion Week extended far beyond the runway. A professional Bulgarian beauty team of makeup artists and hairstylists was part of the backstage crew, contributing to the complete looks of the models. The musical atmosphere of the show was enhanced by music specially provided by Deep Zone Project, whose energy and magnetic sound became an integral part of the overall experience. Behind this international fashion presentation stood a Bulgarian designer, a Bulgarian model, Bulgarian beauty professionals and Bulgarian music — a powerful collective expression of Bulgarian creativity on the international stage. A Special Award for Radi Lazarova The evening reached its climax with the official presentation of a special award — a trophy recognising Radi Lazarova’s participation in Mediterranean Fashion Week 2026. “Magical Vieste. Enchanting Puglia. The Mediterranean Sea. Mediterranean Fashion Week — Where Fashion Meets Culture and Puglia Mediterranean Fashion Week 2026 travelled through Lecce, Taranto, Mesagne, Bari and Vieste, bringing together international designers and brands while showcasing Puglia as a destination where fashion meets culture, tradition and local identity. The event welcomed more than 200 international guests, representatives from approximately 20 countries and over 50 international brands, establishing the fashion week not only as a fashion event but also as a platform for international cultural exchange and the promotion of regional identity. The finale in Vieste was particularly symbolic: fashion became part of the city’s history, while the ancient trabucchi, the Mediterranean Sea and the historic centre provided an extraordinary setting for the international collections.
